We are a group of people from 8 nations who enjoy helping others. Fundraising is fun and together we can make a difference!

We have friendship clubs in Norway and Finland.

 There are 15 Lions Clubs on Gran Canaria Island. Several of these have their own websites in Spanish. This site will also present information about these clubs' activities and links to contact persons.

We are delighted to welcome Journalist Deborah to our ranks!

Debbie has given invaluable help to the FOOD TODAY project, both as an active participant and especially through giving us so much publicity. We are also delighted to recruit younger members, this is very refreshing for the group.

Since we opened for flexible "Internet" membership we have gained 2 new younger members, we have dramatically reduced the average age in the Club.

Our new, flexible 'internet membership' makes it possible for younger people with work and families to participate in our community and humanitarian service.

Brainstorming and networking by phone or email can be just as productive as meetings and is geared to the computer generation.

Internet membership is also suitable for people who do not live here permanently.

We always welcome volunteers and donations.

You can join us in our activities. Or attend our fund raising functions.  We always need volunteers at the market! Come and chat with us...

Donate food, books, Cd's, clothes, sports equipment, computers....

We urgently need shelves, tables and a fridge/ freezer for the storeroom.
